Congratulations on your new site! We can’t wait to help as you customize a site specifically for your church’s needs!
The first step in getting your site set up is establishing your login credentials.
Since you’ve chosen to host with ChurchPress, you will receive an email shortly containing your username & password.
Follow the link to activate your username & password.
Once activated, it will automatically generate a password for you.
Make sure to copy this password as you will need to paste it into the next login screen. Also, keep record of this password if you don’t plan on creating your own.
Once you’ve copied your password, click on the red ‘log in’ link underneath your new information. This will be your main log in page from now on – make sure to notate or bookmark the web address.
Paste your generated password & log in. This is your WordPress Dashboard, you’re now ready to move on to customize your site!!
If you’d like to create a custom password, keep reading below.
On the right side of your top toolbar hover over your WP Greeting.
Choose to ‘Edit My Profile’ & Scroll down until you see Account Management.
Click on Generate New Password – it will autofill a password, but you are not required to use it, feel free to insert a password of your choosing.
Once your desire password is entered, click on the bottom link to ‘Update Profile.’
Your user & password are all set! You can now begin to customize your site!
