Resources for Churches and Individuals in the Midst of a Pandemic

There are a lot of great resources out there to help people during this trying time. Here are some of our favorites!

1. BibleProject

BibleProject offers hundreds of great, free resources on studying the Bible. They have explainer videos covering every book of the Bible, themes, words, and more. Their podcasts, which cover a variety of topics and feature co-founders Tim Mackie and Jon Collins bouncing ideas off each other, are deep without being unapproachable.

Because many people are currently having church at home, BibleProject is offering free weekly emails to help families, churches, and small groups engage with scripture. Sign up for them here

2. Churchpress

Churchpress helps churches get up to speed in terms of technology. They offer a free blog that covers a variety of topics on being on mission in the digital world in addition to a variety of free downloadable resources like social packs and ebooks on utilizing social media.

Churchpress created a free list of 10 YouVersion Bible plans that focus on fear and anxiety, a particularly relevant topic right now!

3. Boundaries

Founded Dr. Henry Cloud, a psychologist and leadership consultant, Boundaries helps people heal relationships and use psychological techniques to grow personally and professionally. Their free blog and podcasts feature practical advice to get you on the right track.

4. Live.Church

Life.Church, pastored by Craig Groeschel, provides resources to help people grow in their relationships with Jesus, including sermons, podcasts, and more. They also provide online Life Groups that offer free training on a variety of topics.

As COVID-19 began to make its way into the United States, Craig preached a sermon about how to respond to fear in an ever-changing world.

5. RZIM

An evangelism, apologetics, and humanitarian ministry, RZIM (short for Ravi Zacharias International Ministries) is dedicated to showing the credibility of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They offer a plethora of free resources that answer questions on the reliability of the Bible, Christianity and philosophy, major objections to the Christian faith, as well as cultural issues.
