Hi friends, Joshua here. I’m one of the leaders at ChurchPress and I wanted to share my heart and vision behind what we are doing so you can gain some understanding about who we are and why it matters.
For the past year, our team at PIXL Designs, has been working diligently to develop a product that can serve local churches all over the world. What started as a web design theme turned into so much more — helping churches spread the Gospel to the ends of the earth, all through the power of their website.
Your Website Matters
Every single week people are searching online for a place to belong that they can find friends, love, and care. The local church is one of the best places for these connections to happen and yet most churches aren’t using real data to help them be more effective in reaching their community. As a pastor or ministry leader, you already know that people view your website before they ever step foot in the door of your church. But not everyone is comfortable enough to take the next step and show up just by reading some generic statements about your church, your services times, and directions.
People need your church to help guide them to the doorstep and into your church, online.
Your website matters. At ChurchPress, we help the local church strategically think through what you are communicating to people when they arrive and how to help more of them feel comfortable visiting.
We created our startup because we believe in the local church, and we want to help churches position their websites to reach people in all sorts of new ways. Our goal is to help your church start the conversation with people in your community, online. And when they come in for a visit, they aren’t just a nameless face; they are a meaningful connection and someone your team knows and can introduce to Jesus.
Our heartbeat is to advance the Gospel to the ends of the earth. And we accomplish this by helping churches like yours rethink their web experience to reach people through your church website.
Exodus Theme
In the web world, we create themes. A theme is a website design that will enable your website to be visible and beautiful. At ChurchPress, our flagship product is Exodus Theme. Exodus is a fully customizable theme that allows you to easily update your website. We have sections that you can include a photo in the background and sections you can change colors of the background, text, buttons, etc. Our goal wasn’t just to make a completely versatile theme but one that helped communicate one big idea, your mission, service times, teachings or sermons, location, and some key ministries.
The goal with Exodus is to simplify your church so you can communicate to people without overwhelming them.
Too many churches have an entire menu roster of everything they have to offer. While this is great for people already committed to your church, it does a poor job in helping new visitors feel welcomed and love. Instead, they just feel like you are busy and probably don’t have time to spend with them.
Professional Training
Our team has been working with websites and serving churches for years. With more than 15 years of ministry and design experience, we have encountered thousands of questions and spent countless hours researching ways to make your website effective.
We will be offering three different types of training for all our websites:
- One-on-One
- Team-based
- Conference
We want to help serve your church and equip you with the confidence to reach your community more strategically.
